Piscine KachouThe steps involved in your service
Assess the pool’s condition
An ageing finish, water loss and worn equipment call for different work. We start with the pool’s condition and history to distinguish necessary repairs from comfort improvements.
What we review with you
- Condition of walls, floor and joints
- Leak and repair history
- Equipment to keep or replace
Start with a sound base.
Preparation determines the quality of the finish. Depending on the assessment, work may include removal, substrate repair and waterproofing renewal. Replacing tiles alone does not resolve a structural leak.
What we review with you
- Removal and substrate preparation
- Detailing around junctions and wall fittings
- Choice of a compatible finishing system
Adapt the existing equipment
Renovation can improve water circulation, adapt filtration or add a cover. We check compatibility with existing pipes, the plant room and the pool shape before proposing new equipment.
What we review with you
- Pump and filter sized together
- Treatment and heating for your needs
- Cover and maintenance access
Bring the pool back into use
Checks and adjustments accompany recommissioning after the work. We review the operation of modified equipment and the care suitable for the new finish with you.
What we review with you
- Check circulation and connections
- New equipment settings and instructions
- Pool and surround maintenance
Your questions before we start
Discuss my projectDoes everything need replacing?
Not necessarily. An assessment helps retain sound elements and focus on useful work. We specify what is included, retained or offered as an option.
Can a cover be fitted to an existing pool?
It depends on the shape, coping and available space. Above-ground and submerged covers have different requirements. A site visit checks integration and installation conditions.
How long does a renovation take?
Timing depends on removal, substrate condition, the chosen finish and drying times. A schedule is set after assessment, distinguishing building work from the wait before refilling.
