Active oxygen
A complete protocol, not one product alone.
Active oxygen covers different formulations. We select a complete protocol compatible with your filter, water volume and pattern of use.
- Exact formulation identified
- Protocol and monitoring together
- Filter compatibility checked
Understand what the product does
Depending on formulation, the product provides oxidation alongside other functions in the protocol. Doses and methods cannot be transferred between products just because they share a name.
In this guideCheck filtration and equipment
Some combined products include clarifiers and are not suitable for every filter. Check the chosen product before installation or switching, particularly with diatomaceous earth filtration.
In this guidePlan for regular attention
Product-specific testing, pH and additions follow the instructions. Heat, heavy use and long absences should be anticipated without adding random products.
In this guideChoose it for your pattern of use
We compare manual care or suitable dosing, consumables and time for checks. A chlorine-free claim must be read with the complete protocol, including start-up and corrective treatments.
Are all active oxygen products identical?
No. Formulations, tests and compatibility can differ. The exact product is essential.
Is it compatible with a diatomaceous earth filter?
It depends on the product. BAYROL, for example, lists Soft & Easy as unsuitable for diatomaceous earth filters.
Can regular testing be skipped?
No. pH monitoring and protocol-specific measurements remain necessary.
