Bromine treatment

Dedicated treatment. Suitable dosing.

Bromine is a disinfection option assessed against existing water and equipment. For tablets intended for a brominator, the dosing unit is integral to the installation.

01

The brominator's role

Water passes through the feeder and gradually dissolves tablets. Its setting and circuit flow affect dosing. The model and connections follow the relevant instructions.

02

Switch treatment methodically

Before switching, we review previous treatment and water tests. Never top up an existing feeder with a different product without an appropriate conversion procedure.

03

Track dissolution and test results

Check tablet level, bromine and pH regularly. Lid handling and cleaning follow feeder instructions with the unit depressurized.

Compare the complete solution

We compare chemical cost, feeder space, monitoring and compatibility. Bromine is not a way to remove water or filtration maintenance.

Your questions answered

Let's discuss your installation
Can bromine tablets go in the skimmer?

Not if instructions specify a brominator only, as with Aquabrome. Placement depends on the exact product.

Can a chlorine feeder be reused?

Not without compatibility approval and a suitable procedure. A feeder previously containing another chemical requires particular care.

Does pH still need checking?

Yes. Bromine does not replace water balancing.
