Pool safety
Safety starts with the first plan.
Applicable private in-ground and partly in-ground pools in France require a safety device. We integrate that choice with the pool shape and access.
- Device suited to the pool
- Documents and installation checked
- Active supervision essential
Four categories to compare
Barrier, alarm, safety cover or enclosure: the device must meet requirements for its category. An ordinary thermal blanket is not a safety cover.
- Barriers: NF P90-306
- Alarms: NF P90-307
- Covers: NF P90-308
- Enclosures: NF P90-309
Check the product and installation
Selection is checked against documentation, pool dimensions and installation conditions. The seller or installer provides technical information on operation, upkeep and prevention.
In this guideExplain everyday use
Closing, locking, reactivating after swimming and regular checks must be easy to understand. We demonstrate these at handover with instructions to keep.
In this guideEquipment does not supervise a child
Protection complements supervision; it never replaces it. During swimming, a designated adult watches children closely. A damaged or improperly closed device needs immediate attention.
In this guideIs a roller cover always sufficient?
Only if the complete device, installation and use meet applicable requirements. Appearance is not enough.
Can I choose something other than a cover?
Yes. A compliant barrier, alarm or enclosure may be considered for the project and applicable rules.
What should be kept after installation?
Keep instructions, supplied compliance documents and maintenance guidance for correct use and checks.
