Heat pump
Extend the swimming season thoughtfully.
A heat pump transfers energy from outdoor air to the water. Model selection considers the pool, climate, swimming season and desired temperature.
- Swimming season assessed
- Airflow and condensate considered
- Heating and cover coordinated
Compare output under the same conditions
Output and efficiency change with air, water and humidity. We compare ratings under identical conditions, particularly at season edges, rather than one headline figure.
In this guideAir needs a clear path
The unit stays outdoors with the clearances in its manual. Placement considers neighbours, house openings, its base and condensate drainage.
In this guideConnect heating in the right place
The hydraulic branch is planned after filtration, with adjustment and isolation specified by the manufacturer. Flow, downstream treatment and electrical protection are checked together.
In this guideRetain heat and prepare for winter
A suitable cover limits losses when the pool is unused. Keep surroundings and airflow clear and winterize according to the manual; all-weather claims do not remove the need to check operating limits.
How long does heating take?
It depends on volume, starting temperature, weather, available output and cover. We assess it for your project.
Can it go inside the plant room?
An air-source unit intended for outdoors needs the specified airflow. An ordinary closed room is unsuitable.
Does water underneath mean a leak?
It may be condensate. If discharge seems unusual, an inspection distinguishes condensation from a hydraulic leak.
