Options in detail

Sand filter
A sand filter traps particles in a vessel filled with filter media. Selection depends on actual flow, available space and a suitable route for backwash water.

Cartridge filter
Water passes through one or more pleated elements. Selection considers filtration area, flow and enough clearance to remove the elements.

Diatomaceous earth filter
A layer of media coats internal grids to trap small particles. This filtration requires a precise model-specific cleaning and recharging procedure.

Filtration pump
The pump moves water from the pool through filtration and equipment to the returns. Power alone is not enough to choose: pipework and required flow come first.

Plant room & pipework
The plant room brings together the equipment that keeps your pool working. It is designed with buried pipework so circuits stay understandable and serviceable after finishing.
Read the guideSand filter
Water passes through a filter medium. Backwashing cleans it; drainage must comply with local requirements.
Cartridge filter
Removable elements trap particles. Access is planned from the start to make rinsing and replacement easier.
Diatomaceous earth filter
Fine filtration requiring appropriate maintenance and disposal of used media. We assess its suitability for your installation.
The right pump and flow
Selection takes the filter, pipework and equipment into account. Flow and connections are designed together, not from water volume alone.

How do I choose between sand, cartridge and DE?
Compare flow, space, desired filtration fineness and upkeep. Backwash drainage and any media collection are considered before choosing.
Is filtration enough to treat the water?
It traps particles. Disinfection and water-balance checks are still complementary requirements.
Can an existing plant room be improved?
Yes. Surveying pipework and equipment identifies useful changes without systematically replacing everything.
