Pool filtration

It all starts with crystal-clear water.

The right filtration is at the heart of an enjoyable pool. We help you choose, install and restore your system.

  • Sand, cartridge or diatomaceous-earth filters
  • Pump installation and replacement
  • Water treatment and circulation

The steps involved in your service

Understand the water’s journey.

Water travels through suction fittings, the pump strainer and then the filter before returning to the pool. Cloudy water does not automatically mean replacing the filter: operating time, flow and treatment also matter.

What we review with you

  • Skimmers, suction and return fittings
  • Actual flow and pipe condition
  • Balance between filtration and disinfection

Compare filter types

Sand or filter media is cleaned by backwashing. A cartridge is removed for cleaning. A diatomaceous earth filter needs maintenance and replenishment according to its manual. Space, water availability and waste discharge also inform the choice.

What we review with you

  • Sand: media, valve and backwashing
  • Cartridge: access and element cleaning
  • Diatomaceous earth: specific care and consumables

The pump and filter work as a pair.

A more powerful pump is not necessarily the answer. The choice depends on pipework, equipment and filter capacity. We also consider noise, strainer access and the ability to adapt operating cycles.

What we review with you

  • Flow compatibility with the filter
  • Access to unions and pump strainer
  • Settings and checks after replacement

Understand the settings and checks

Unusual pressure, bubbles or reduced return flow are signs to watch. We help you identify controls, understand cleaning tasks and keep a reference for normal operation.

What we review with you

  • Valve identification and pressure gauge reading
  • Maintenance according to the filter manual
  • Diagnosis if abnormal flow persists

Your questions before we start

Discuss my project
Is filtration enough to treat pool water?

No. Filtration traps particles; disinfection and water balance serve other purposes. The installation and care routine need to address them together.

Can just the pump be replaced?

Yes, if the filter, pipework and connections remain compatible. The current reference, pool dimensions and plant room photos help us prepare the assessment.

Why is the pressure rising?

A dirty filter can be one cause, but the whole circuit needs checking. Compare with the normal reading and follow the manual; a persistent anomaly warrants a diagnosis.
